Ready Mix Concrete in Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton has no shortage of concrete suppliers. It has a shortage of suppliers who'll put a price on the page. Here are ours — per cubic metre, in writing, with a 0.5m³ minimum and no part-load penalty.
Wolverhampton Concrete Prices Per Cubic Metre
Ring most suppliers and the price is a secret until they've sized you up. We'd rather you could budget before you pick up the phone. These are our guide prices — per m³, +VAT, confirmed when you book:
| Grade | Typical use | Guide price per m³ (+VAT) |
|---|---|---|
| GEN1-equivalent (C8/10) | Strip footings, oversite, mass fill | from £99 |
| GEN3-equivalent / C20 | Shed & garage bases | from £105 |
| C25 | Reinforced foundations, driveways (air-entrained) | from £110 |
| C30 | Stronger slabs, external work | from £115 |
| C35 | Structural work to spec | from £120 |
| C40 | Heavy-duty and industrial | from £128 |
All supplied as designed mixes batched to the strength and durability requirements of BS 8500 / BS EN 206, with a batch ticket on every load. For the full market picture — what concrete costs nationally and why — see our concrete prices guide.
0.5m³ Minimum. No Part-Load Penalty. Ever.
The other number that matters is the minimum. Ours is 0.5m³ — against a typical volumetric minimum of 1m³, and batched-plant minimums of 2–6m³ with £500+ minimum charges at some suppliers. And because our trucks batch on site and bill by calibrated meter, there's no charge for the truck capacity you didn't use. Drum suppliers typically charge £15–£40 for every empty cubic metre, depending on supplier; that line simply doesn't exist on our invoices. Small WV jobs are our mini mix bread and butter.
Two honest notes. Out-of-hours pours can carry a surcharge, confirmed when you book. And on a like-for-like big pour, a plant-batched convoy can edge us on headline per-m³ price — what you save with us is the waste, the part-load fees and the returned-concrete charges. We'd rather you knew all of that up front.
Delivery Across Wolverhampton
We cover Wolverhampton's WV postcodes seven days a week, 7am–5pm, with same-day slots often available. Footings, floors, driveways in air-entrained C25/30, yard slabs — the truck batches your spec at the kerbside, and our concrete delivery page walks through the whole pour day.
Access is the usual honesty: about 3m of clear width for the truck, extension chutes reaching around 5m, barrows or a pump beyond that — we'll plan it with you. Work out your volume on the concrete calculator; over-estimate freely, because the meter only bills what's poured.

Wolverhampton Concrete FAQs
Why do you publish your concrete prices for Wolverhampton?
Because nobody else locally does, and we think that's the wrong way round. Concrete pricing isn't mysterious: a grade, a volume, VAT. Our guide prices are on the page so you can budget before you ring — the final figure is confirmed when you book, once we know access and timing.
Do you charge part-load fees like other suppliers?
No — never. Drum suppliers charge for unused truck capacity, typically £15–£40 for every empty cubic metre depending on supplier, because their concrete is batched at the plant. Ours is batched on site and billed by calibrated meter, so a 0.5m³ job pays for 0.5m³.
Is your price the same in Wolverhampton as in Birmingham?
The same guide prices apply across our whole coverage area — Wolverhampton isn't quoted off a different card. Every quote is confirmed when you book, once we've checked access and scheduling.
Are your prices including VAT?
All prices are quoted ex VAT — add 20%. We say this plainly because comparing an ex-VAT price against an inc-VAT price is the easiest way to think you've found a bargain that isn't one.
What's the minimum concrete order in Wolverhampton?
0.5m³. Typical volumetric suppliers set a 1m³ minimum, and batched plants often want 2–6m³ or apply minimum charges. Small WV jobs — a footing repair, a post run, a small pad — are exactly what our trucks are for.
